Bloodlust Game Guide

Bloodlust | Unlife Simulation is a roleplaying game within the virtual world of Second Life.
Avatars are able to become one of many natural or supernatural races, as well as create or join houses and clans.
It is recommended that you read the Glossary of Terms before reading this guide.

Bloodlust HUD

In order to play Bloodlust you must register your avatar by wearing the [Bloodlust] HUD.
Upon doing so you will be registered as a Human, from here you can remain Human or go on to be embraced as one of many supernatural races.
The [Bloodlust] HUD can be obtained for L$0 from the SL Marketplace.

• Hybrid Players can click the Health Bubble to switch between health types.
• You can click the button to stop feeding, or simply move away from your victim.

Being Embraced/Turned

Human players can choose to remain Human or become a Supernatural by being embraced/turned by another player.
• Most races can be embraced one of two ways, via Feeding or Potions.

2nd Generation Potions

Human players can also be turned/embraced by consuming a 2nd Generation NPC Potion.

There are two kinds of 2nd Generation NPC Potion:

No Copy | No Mod | Transfer
Players who own these potions may be willing to sell or trade them in-world.
These potions are no longer sold at the SL Marketplace

No Copy | No Mod | No Transfer
These potions are No Transfer and cannot be traded in-world with other players.
These potions are sold at the SL Marketplace

Hunger and The Curse

All registered avatars have a daily loss of Vital Energy due to hunger.
The effects of this hunger are felt each night at Midnight SLT (00:00)

Humans

Humans suffer a 5% loss of Vital Energy per day due to natural human hunger.
Humans can restore Vital Energy by drinking Synthetic Mortality or consuming food items.
If a humans Vital Energy drops to 0%, they will become a Wraith or a Revenant.

Supernaturals

All supernatural beings suffer a daily loss of Vital Energy due to hunger of the beast, also known as The Curse.
Supernaturals can restore health by drinking Synthetic Vital Energy or consuming Natural Vital Energy directly from other avatars or stored reserves.
If a Supernaturals Vital Energy drops to 0%, they will become a Lost Soul.

The Curse
• The initial amount of Vital Energy taken by The Curse is defined by an avatars Generation, also known as the Generational Curse.
• The closer your are to the 1st Generation, the higher your Generational Curse will be.
• The Generational Curse is lowered for each night you age. Immortal Elders will no longer feel the effects of the Generational Curse.
• A positive reputation will decrease your Generational Curse by up to 10%.
• A negative reputation will increase your Generational Curse by up to 10%.
• The masquerade can further decrease your curse by up to 10%.

Prestige

Prestige is a stat used to unlock certain features such as creating houses and clans.
Prestige is calculated each night at Midnight SLT (00:00)

Player Prestige
Generation - The closer your are to the 1st Generation, the higher your initial prestige will be.
Age - For each day that you age, you will gain 1 additional prestige point.
Original Unlife - Having this achievement will increase your additional prestige earned from Age by 10%.
Active Direct Descendants - Each active Direct Descendant will increase your prestige by 10 points.
Active Direct Loyal Subjects - Each active Direct Loyal Subject will increase your prestige by 10 points.
Deaths - Each death will decrease your prestige by 10 points.
Lost Souls as Direct Descendants - Each Lost Soul will decrease your prestige by 10 points.
Lost Souls as Direct Loyal Subjects - Each Lost Soul will decrease your prestige by 10 points.

House Prestige
• House Prestige is calculated using the total prestige of all of its members.
• House Classification can provide a bonus multiplier to House Prestige.

Clan Prestige
• Clan Prestige is calculated from the total prestige of all of its houses.

Bloodline Prestige
• Bloodline Prestige is calculated using the total prestige of all of its members.
